3d International Winter Limnology Symposium, 12-16 April 2012

Following the two successful symposia on Winter Limnology 2008 (Kilpisjärvi, Finland) and 2010 (Liebenberg, Germany), a third winter limnology symposium will be arranged at Finse Alpine Research Center 12-16 April, 2012.

<p>Finse Alpine Research Center is located in the Finse valley at 1215 m.a.s.l., between the 70 sq.km glacier Hardangerj&oslash;kulen (a part seen at top of picture) and&nbsp;the northern slope&nbsp;(from where the picture is taken).&nbsp;The distance is&nbsp;1.4 km east of the Finse railroad station - see a link to the local map at bottom (left) of this page</p>
